Tunde Adeniji, Emem Eduok Score Braces For Al-Nasr, BB Erzurumspor
Published: February 17, 2019Tunde Adeniji continued his fine form for Al-Nasr by scoring a brace as they registered a 2-0 win over Al Shabab on game week 13 in the Kuwaiti Premier League on Saturday.
The former Sunshine Stars striker celebrated his debut last weekend by netting a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw vs Al Salmiyah and it was his two goals that gave Al-Nasr their fourth win of the season.
Adeniji headed home after meeting a pinpoint cross from a teammate in the 53rd minute and doubled the advantage with a low strike past the goalkeeper from just outside the box on 73 minutes.
Elsewhere, another former Nigeria Professional Football League star Emem Eduok scored his second double of the season, one with Kasimpasa and the other for his new team, as BB Erzurumspor beat Sivasspor 4-2 in a Turkish Super Lig tie at Kazım Karabekir Stadyumu on Sunday afternoon.
Eduok made it 2-1 in the 30th minute before netting his second goal for his new employer on the hour mark.
He is in line to exceed his scoring tally of seven goals in a single season in the Turkish topflight from the 2017-18 campaign when BB Erzurumspor travel to Ankaragucu next Sunday.
