Can This Rejuvenated Star Lead Super Eagles to AFCON Glory Once Again?
Victor Moses had an underwhelming performance during the 2018 World Cup as he only managed just a goal against Argentina in three matches.

The 28-year-old surprisingly put an end to his international career after the tournament, claiming he wants to focus on his Chelsea career and his family.

Some months after the player's decision, reports emanated from local media that the former England U17 star could rescind his decision after a heart-to-heart discussion with top members of the Nigeria Football Federation, including the Board's President Amaju Pinnick.

As much as NFF's move to see the player in Eagles' camp before the Africa Cp of Nations was largely criticised by Nigerians, Moses's return will surely be a major boost to the team's chances of lifting their fourth AFCON trophy.

Meanwhile, one question that must be answered by the winger, who now plays for Turkish side Fenerbahce, is - Can Nigerians rely on him for once again?

The last time the Super Eagles lifted this trophy was in 2013, and Victor Moses played an integral role from start to finish.

His brace was all the country needed to overcome Ethiopia's challenge in the last group game.

He was also lively in the semi-final clash against Mali, which ended 4-1.

Moses had a hand in the last goal of the tournament as his blocked shot found its way to Sunday Mba, who made no mistake in putting the ball into Burkina Faso's net in the final match of the competition.

He looks rejuvenated since his loan switch to Fenerbahce in the January transfer window, but it remains unknown if he can help the Super Eagles to another AFCON trophy just as he did six years ago.
