Nwakali, Awoniyi, Chukwueze Report For International Duty; Bologna Loanees Still Being Expected
Arsenal loanee Kelechi Nwakali and Liverpool-owned striker Taiwo Awoniyi have linked up with the Nigeria U23s in Tunis ahead of Wednesday's U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.

The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed on Monday evening that Club Brugge's Dennis Bonaventure, Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze and Rizespor's Azubuike Okechukwu have also reported for international duty.

American-based winger Orji Okonkwo and Italian-based duo Kingsley Michael and David Okereke are expected to show up in camp by Tuesday, March 19.

The Dream Team VII will hold their first training session in Tunis on Tuesday, a day before the meeting with the North Africans.

While Nwakali is in contention to make his debut for the Nigeria U23s, the likes of Awoniyi and Okechukwu were key members of the Olympic Team squad in 2015.

Nigeria are among the five African countries to have participated in the first two editions of the U23 AFCON, the others being Egypt, Algeria, Senegal and South Africa.
