Published: March 24, 2019Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr says he'll spread his tentacles wide in a bid to attract the best players to represent the country at senior international level.
The German spoke on specific plans for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations from the perspective of personnel shortly after the Super Eagles beat Seychelles 3-1 in Asaba on Friday.
''We are looking all the time to find better players, you know that we have good players that are very young. We already let two players Azubuike and Okechukwu go to the U23. They were on my list,'' said Rohr.
He continued : ''At first we will make the list of 30 players for the AFCON and then it will be reduced to 23.
''We have the time now to scout our players, to see everybody, and then I will see what I will do but we have the time now to prepare. ''
