Published: April 21, 2019Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala received the medical green light from Barcelona medics ahead of their UEFA Women's Champions League meeting with Bayern Munich at the FC Bayern Campus Platz 1 (München) on Sunday evening.
Prior to today's fixture, the Dalian Quanjian F.C. loanee had not figured for Barcelona Femení after suffering a hamstring injury in a Primera División Femenina clash against Atletico Madrid on March 17.
Oshoala was forced to miss out on the Super Falcons friendlies against Icelandic outfit UMF Selfoss and Canada Women's National Team earlier this month after failing to recover from her ailment.
The FC Robo product made her Champions League bow for Barcelona after coming off the bench as replacement for England striker Toni Duggan in the 66th minute.
She came close to extending The Blaugranes' lead on 76 minutes but her close range effort hit the side netting.
Barcelona won all their six matches, including two in the Champions League against Lillestrom, during Oshoala's spell on the sidelines, scoring 21 goals without conceding.
They host Bayern Munich at the Miniestadi in the second leg on Sunday, April 28.
