Official : Ex-Flying Eagles Star Sani Tahir Joins New Club In Sweden

Swedish third division club Svartviks IF have officially announced the capture of former Nigeria U20 international Sani Tahir.

A left-footed attack-minded player, Tahir last represented Swedish club Syrianska FC, and also lists FC Sydvest, KI Klaksvik, Brönshöj BK, Vejle Kolding and Vejle BK among his previous employers.

In his first words as a Svartviks player, Tahir said : ''It feels like a home for me for the guys in the team have taken care of me from day one and I enjoy it incredibly well.

''People talk a lot about "everything is about money" but sometimes it is not and this feels like the best choice for me right now.

''I already feel happier here than I did in Syrianska, and of course I will do everything I can to help the team reach as high as possible.''

Before agreeing terms with Svartviks IF, Tahir trained with some Finnish clubs and Gefle IF but nothing came out of it.
