The Real Reason Why Man City, Watford Midfielders Did Not Make Nigeria Debuts Vs Saudi Arabia
Published: May 05, 2019Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that two Manchester City youth-teamers did not make their Nigeria debuts in today's international friendly against Saudi Arabia because they had issues with their travel documents.
The Dele-Bashiru brothers, Fisayo and Tom, who are midfielders, were not in the 22-man traveling party to Vienna because they had a single-entry visa to Germany.
As for Watford's Jayden Bennetts, he is the holder of a British passport and can travel in and out of European Union countries, including Austria but manager Paul Aigbogun opted not to include him in the squad.
The Barnet-born wonderkid had been nursing an injury he suffered at The Hornets and this is his first week of training.
The three aforementioned players as well as Everton winger Korede Adedoyin are in contention to feature in the Flying Eagles next preparatory game against Hoffenheim since the match is taking place in Germany.
The Flying Eagles players and officials will depart Vienna, Austria on Monday, May 6.
