Should Isaac Success Consider An Exit From Watford?
Published: May 08, 2019
Isaac Success' spell at Watford hasn't been a great one as he is yet to reach the level many Watford fans expected from the player who joined them from Granada three years ago.
This season has been a bittersweet experience for him having failed to tie down a regular spot in Javi Gracia's list of untouchable players.
The striker cum winger was in fine form during the first half of this season, helping his team win many matches. His display made him one of Javi Gracia's favorite players as at that time.
Unfortunately for the former Nigeria U17 starlet, his blistering form didn't last long, and he was dropped to the substitute bench all through the closing stages of the campaign.
The 23-year-old winger managed just nine starts from the 30 Premier League matches he has played for the Hornets so far, which is a confirmation that he's not rated by the former Rubin Kazan manager.
Success needs regular game-time to return back to the beastly form he enjoyed throughout his days at Granada, but it seems he won't get that at Vicarage Road next season.
Deeney and Deulofeu are ahead of him in the team's pecking order, hence it is very likely the Nigerian might fail to get quality game-time next season.
Should He Consider Leaving Watford This Summer?
No. Though moving out of Vicarage Road sounds like a very good decision, but it's definitely not the best for now. Success needs to up his game because no club would love to buy an off-form player.
He might need to stay with Watford for the first half of next season to see how the situation unfolds before deciding whether to seek a move to greener pastures or not.
