Bournemouth's Ofoborh Picks Up Wisdom From U20 World Cup Winner Solanke

Nnamdi Ofoborh is delighted for the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the FIFA U20 World Cup which begins in Poland today and admitted that he has picked up wisdom from two members of the Bournemouth squad that won the last tournament in South Korea, Dominic Solanke and Lewis Cook.
The midfielder was initially omitted from the Flying Eagles provisional roster for the World Cup but forced his way into the final 21-man squad after impressing in a test game against VfR Aalen U19s.
Speaking to the official website of Bournemouth, Ofoborh said : ''We play at lot of games with Bournemouth but they don’t have the stature of the World Cup and the competition is probably the biggest stage you can get in football.
''I’m buzzing, I'm just really happy to have this opportunity and hopefully I can do my best in front of the whole world.''
The London-born starlet added : ''I spoke to Lewis Cook about it before the end of the season. I asked him what it was about, how it feels to play in it and just in general about the team he was in that won it.
''Knowing about that and watching him and the way he led the team was enough for me, I didn’t need that much more information from him or Dom (Solanke) because they’re great players, I’ve seen what they’ve done and hopefully I can take that to my team and help them. I’m buzzing for the opportunity.''
