Danish Superliga Champion Onyeka Returns To FC Midtjylland Squad After Suspension
Published: July 12, 2020Former Nigeria U23 invitee Frank Onyeka is in line to make his 32nd
appearance of the season in all competitions when FC Midtjylland tackle
AGF at Ceres Park & Arena (Arhus) on Sunday evening, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The central midfielder has been named in the matchday eighteen by manager Brian Priske.
Onyeka
was not involved in the Wolves title-winning match vs FC Copenhagen
three days ago because he was serving a one-game suspension following
his sending off against FC Nordsjaelland.
The 22-year-old was dismissed for a second bookable offense in the 95th minute of The Wolves 1-0 victory against Nordsjælland after an altercation with Mads Døhr Thychosen.
Today, Onyeka can help FC Midtjylland extend their record-breaking points tally for away matches in a single- season
FC Midtjylland have dropped only two points in 16 away games this term - winning 15 and drawing the other.
Meanwhile, central
defender Raphael Onyedika, who recently penned a new multi-year
contract with the Danish Superliga champions and has been promoted to
the first team, has been left out of the traveling party to AGF.
