Barnsley striker Dike drawing interest from Club Brugge, Spartak Moscow
Published: March 16, 2021Orlando City loanee Daryl Dike is also on the radar of teams based in Belgium and Russia, apart from one of the top six clubs in the English Premier League, according to reports.
MLS Transfers has tweeted that the American-Nigerian attacker is attracting interest from Club Brugge and Spartak Moscow.
Club Brugge held talks with Orlando City in December but the one-cap United States international ended up joining Championship club Barnsley on loan until May 2021 in the winter transfer market.
He has not done badly since his temporary switch to Barnsley, scoring three goals in his last six outings in the Championship.
Orlando
City want to keep Dike on their roster for the 2021 season but their
hands would be tied if an interested club are willing to pay his release
clause of $20m.
Barnsley have an option to buy Dike permanently in the summer while Orlando City inserted a conditional right of
recall into the loan deal.
