ADEFEMI OLUBAYO: I am on top of my gameThe Nigeria right back Adefemi Olubayo says he will give his best to get back into the Eagles squad.

The 25-year-old was omitted from the Eagles world cup party in South Africa because of his lack of first team chances at his former club US Boulogne. Now, since his switch to Greece, Adefemi has enjoyed much playing time and is an ever present in the Xanthi Skoda squad.

He earned rave reviews in the Greek media on match day 13 after his display against Olympiakos Volos. The supporters of the club voted the versatile player, who is comfortable playing in defense or midfield, as the second best player in the Xanthi squad.

''It is not going to be easy to make Siasia‘s team because he‘s a coach who always wants the best. He has already said he wants only those who play regularly for their clubs.

''I‘m on top of my game and I hope to keep for that way to get him to look my way. My performance here (in Greece) and my commitment to Nigeria should earn me a role in the Eagles, '' says Adefemi to The Punch.

Adefemi has featured in 11 games this term for Xanthi. In Xanthi's 29-man roster, only three players, including the Zambia captain Chris Katongo have played more games than him in the league.
