16-year-old Nigeria-eligible wonderkid first words after joining Club Brugge on 3-year deal
Published: September 01, 2021Club Brugge completed the signing of Stabæk Fotball's Norwegian-born Nigerian wonderkid Antonio Nusa on Tuesday, August 31.
Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively reported hours before the transfer was made official that the 16-year-old put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Club Brugge, keeping him at
the West Flanders club until the end of the 2023-2024 season, and the Belgian champions have confirmed as much via their official website.
Nusa is the second Nigeria-eligible player to sign for Club Brugge's first team this summer, after Owen Otasowie who was acquired from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
"You can see me as a skiller, a dribbler. I am a player who likes to create chances, score and assist.
"I want to get to the first team, get my chances and to show myself and my skills, and try and express myself and do as much as I can for the team".
The deal taking Nusa to Club Brugge was brokered by Norwegian-Nigerian intermediary, Atta Aneke.
