The 17-year-old spoke about the qualities that he can bring to the Flying Eagles and Olympic National Team if called up by the Nigeria Football Federation and revealed the two Nigeria strikers he models his game on.
"The qualities I can add to the team is my positioning. As a striker positioning is very important to be at the right place at the right time to score goals. I will also say my speed is a good asset," Okosun told allnigeriasoccer.com.
"I want to represent Nigeria because I have a great connection with the country due to my upbringing. I was trained in the Nigerian way and I'd like to be of great help to Nigeria because I like Nigeria.
"I also have Nigerian idols like Ahmed Musa, Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen who is doing very well now at Napoli."
On the players he models his game after, he said : "I model my game after Odion Ighalo and Osimhen. Not only because they are from my state Edo State, I like their style of play and their positioning. Osimhen is a very good player."
Blessed with speed and physicality, Okosun has produced a series of stunning displays for Airdrieonians U18 side this season.
