Super Eagles star sends message to Fenerbahce he'll leave if an offer arrives from EPL
Published: November 22, 2022
Newly capped Nigeria international Bright Osayi-Samuel has reportedly told Fenerbahce to sanction a move if an offer is received from the English Premier League.
According to Turkish outlet Sporx, Osayi-Samuel, who is looking forward to returning to England, has communicated with the leadership of Fenerbahce and conveyed his request to leave.
It is claimed that Osayi-Samuel's intermediary has some offers from unnamed English and Italian clubs.
The 24-year-old joined Fenerbahce from Queens Park Rangers in January 2021 and has gone on to make 83 appearances in all competitions for the Istanbul club, registering three goals and six assists.
This season, he has lost his place in the starting line-up of the Yellow Canaries, making three starts from a possible thirteen in the Turkish Super Lig and one of the reasons he wants to leave Fenerbahce is his desire to get more minutes.
A product of Blackpool's Academy, Osayi-Samuel has no English Premier League experience but previously played in the Championship, League One and League Two.
The Okija-born wingback has a contract with Fenerbahce until June 30, 2025.
