Ehibhatiomhan plays as trialist for Man Utd Youth after training with Chelsea, Southampton
Published: November 27, 2022
Flying Eagles-eligible striker Princewill Ehibhatiomhan is still hunting for a new club after rejecting a new deal at Reading.
Manchester United youth team expert and historian @mrmujac has tweeted that the Anglo-Nigerian center forward appeared as a trialist for the Red Devils U17 team in their 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers in a Premier League Cup clash on Wednesday, November 23.
The highly-rated teenager has now tested with at least three Premier League clubs since his decision not to extend his stay at the Royals.
Ehibhatiomhan trained with Chelsea youth team during their preparations for the 2022-2023 season, and scored in pre-season friendlies against Leeds United and Coventry City.
After his trials at Chelsea, he headed to Southampton and also showed off his goalscoring prowess by netting in competitive league matches for the U18s against Crystal Palace and Fulham.
Should his transfer to Manchester United go through, he would link up with Victor Musa, Habeeb Ogunneye and Maximillian Oyedele at Manchester United academy.
Princewill is the younger brother of Reading striker Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan who has five first team appearances under his belt as a teenager.
