Arsenal have arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a mid-season warm weather training camp ahead of the Premier League restart.
Manager Mikel Arteta has taken two young players of Nigerian descent to Dubai - attacking midfielder Ethan Nwaneri and in-form winger Nathan Butler-Oyedeji.
The Gunners trained for the first time in Dubai on Monday afternoon, with Nwaneri rubbing shoulders with some established first team players, according to the training images published by Arsenal on their official website.
The session got underway with the players working out in the gym after which the players did some ball work on the grass.
Since his record breaking first team debut for Arsenal, Nwaneri has not yet received another call-up for a first team match, and he'll be aiming to catch the eye of Arteta during the training camp in the United Arab Emirates.
The 15-year-old has done well for Arsenal U18s so far this season with a goal involvement of five in five appearances.
The Premier League table toppers will face Lyon on Thursday, December 8, before a meeting with current Serie A champions AC Milan five days later in the Dubai Super Cup.
