National Women's Soccer League club Houston Dash now have sixteen players contracted for next season after re-signing versatile Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie.
The 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup winners confirmed on their official website on Thursday evening that Alozie's new deal will keep her at the club until the end of the 2024 season.
Born in California, Alozie has been on the books of Houston Dash since 2021 and lists Legends FC, Granite Hills Cougars and Yale Bulldogs as her former employers.
Last season, the 25-year-old appeared in ten matches in the regular season and got on the score sheet twice.
She entered into the club's history books by scoring the latest game-tying goal in club history when she scored the equalizer in the first minute of second-half stoppage time against the Washington Spirit,
On the international stage, Alozie was a key member of the Super Falcons squad that reached the semifinals of the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations
