Genk chief insists no concrete interest in Super Eagles striker amid Aston Villa links

Belgian Pro League table toppers Racing Genk would be willing to allow their top scorer Paul Onuachu leave in the January transfer window, but only if they receive a good offer from an interested club.
It was suggested that Unai Emery's Aston Villa were considering a move for the Nigerian next month but there is a fresh development.
In an interview with Dutch language regional newspaper, Het Belang van Limburg, via Voetbalnieuws, Racing Genk Technical Director Dimitri de Conde clarified that for the time being no club has shown concrete interest in Onuachu.
Onuachu has been in incredible form this season with fourteen goals in fifteen appearances before the World Cup break, and has also impressed in recent friendlies.
The lanky striker also enjoyed a banner 2021-2022 campaign, netting 23 goals in all competitions, while the previous season was his best in terms of goal scored, 35 in 41 matches.
Onuachu joined Racing Genk from Danish outfit FC Midtjylland in the summer of 2019 in exchange for eight million euros.
The FC Ebedei product has eighteen months left on his contract with Racing Genk.
