Southampton, Everton, Crystal Palace keeping tabs on Arsenal academy product Akpom

Three Premier League clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on Arsenal's Hale End Academy product Chuba Akpom.
According to the Daily Mail UK, Akpom is drawing interest from Crystal Palace, Everton and Southampton after excelling in the Championship with Middlesbrough.
The former Super Eagles invitee is the joint top scorer in the second tier of English football with twelve goals in eighteen appearances
Palace, Everton and Southampton are considering signing Akpom as they aim to add more firepower to their attack in the second half of the season.
Only Wolverhampton Wanderers (10) and Nottingham Forest (12) have scored fewer goals than the Toffees (13) in this season's Premier League, while Southampton and Crystal Palace have managed 15 and 17 respectively.
Akpom is in the best form of his career with eight goals in nine appearances since the appointment of Manchester United legend Michael Carrick as Boro boss.
The 27-year-old has entered the last six months of his contract at Middlesbrough though the Riverside Stadium outfit have the option to extend his stay by a further year.
Southampton have also been linked with another Nigerian striker in the January transfer window, Lorient's Terem Moffi.
