Southampton boss refuses to rule out recalling Super Eagles hopeful from loan spell

Southampton manager Nathan Jones has refused to rule out the possibility of recalling in-form winger Nathan Tella from his loan spell at Championship table toppers Burnley.
It is safe to say that Tella's loan spell at the Clarets has been successful with the winger playing twenty four games in all competitions, scoring eight goals in the league.
Southampton, Tella's parent club, inserted a recall clause into the deal taking him to Turf Moor in the summer and speculation is rife that the Premier League club may activate the option this month due to his impressive performances at Burnley.
In addition, Ralph Hasenhuttl, the manager that sanctioned his temporary departure from Southampton, has been replaced by Jones.
When asked by The Athletic reporter Jacob Tanswell about recalling Tella, Jones responded : "Every possibility is open to us.
"What we have to do is make sure that the squad we go into January with is weaker than the one we come out of with - that's the main thing."
Tella helped Burnley register a 2-1 road win over Swansea City on Monday evening, and the highlight of his performance was providing the assist for the second goal scored by the visitors.
