Published: January 05, 2023
Aston Villa's Anglo-Nigerian central midfielder Tim Iroegbunam is being linked with two top European clubs.
According to Teamtalk, Borussia Dortmund are considering a move for the England U20 international of Nigerian descent as a potential replacement for 2022 World Cup star Jude Bellingham, who is heavily linked with a departure from Signal Iduna Park in the summer.
Iroegbunam is on the radar of top European clubs after his outstanding performance for the Young Lions at the 2022 European U19 Championship.
Apart from Dortmund, Italian Serie A powerhouse Juventus are monitoring the progress of Iroegbunam, who is currently on loan at Championship club Queens Park Rangers.
From what has been seen of the Aston Villa loanee, he has felt at home at Queens Park Rangers, playing eighteen games in all competitions, in which he was in action for 1,310 minutes.
Iroegbunam came through West Brom's youth system before joining Aston Villa, where he made his professional debut in a Premier League match against Brighton & Hove in February 2022.
The 19-year-old has a contract with Aston Villa until June 30, 2027.
