Confirmed : Fulham extend contract of Super Eagles target Tosin
Published: January 06, 2023
With a statement on their official website, English Premier League side Fulham have announced that they have activated the option in former England youth international Tosin Adarabioyo's contract.
The contract signed by Tosin when he joined the Cottagers from Manchester City contained an option for an additional season.
The central defender is now contracted to the Cottagers until June 30, 2024.
Tosin is now in his third season at Fulham, and was one of their standout players as they won promotion back to the Premier League at the end of last season.
The 25-year-old is ten games shy of reaching the 100-game milestone for the London club, having totaled ninety appearances in which he registered three goals and two assists.
His new deal has seemingly ended speculation about his future at Fulham in the short term with reports previously linking him with a possible move to other Premier League teams.
Tosin is believed to be a player of interest to the Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Augustine Eguavoen
Eguavoen attended the Premier League match between Crystal Palace and Fulham on Boxing Day on the invitation of Tosin and his brother Gbolahan, who is also the central defender's intermediary, but the Manchester City academy product was a non-playing substitute.
