Championship outfit Wigan Athletic are reportedly weighing up whether to make a move for Watford's Nigerian central defender Darrin Enahoro-Marcus,
Football League World citing football reporter Alan Nixon says Wigan Athletic are considering a transfer swoop for Enahoro-Marcus.
The promising defender featured as a trialist as The Latics thrashed Birmingham City 5-0 in the Professional Development League on Tuesday afternoon.
Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively reported back in November that Enahoro-Marcus wants to move on to pastures new and was permitted to train with Barnsley by the Hornets.
Enahoro-Marcus signed a scholarship deal with Watford in the summer of 2021 following a successful trial and the deal runs out at the end of the season.
He has been described by his minders as a ball-playing center back who is composed when in possession of the ball, strong in the tackle and possesses excellent aerial ability.
The 18-year-old, who previously played for Stoke City youth teams, has cited Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk as his role model.
