Fulham make transfer decision on Super Eagles-eligible central defender
Published: January 25, 2023Fulham have made a transfer decision on Super Eagles-eligible central defender Tosin Adarabioyo amid speculation linking him with a departure from Craven Cottage before the close of the January transfer window.
It is claimed that the Manchester City academy product is on the radar of Monaco, German, Spanish and Premier League teams.
Tosin is tied to the Cottagers until June 30, 2024 after the club recently activated the option to extend his stay by an additional twelve months.
According to Sky Sports, Fulham have no intention of parting company with the Anglo-Nigerian center back this month.
And in a bid to fend off interested from interested clubs, the Londoners are working on extending his contract that would see him remain at the club beyond the end of the 2023-2024 season.
Tosin has seen his first team opportunities limited since October, having featured in five of the twelve Premier League games contested by Fulham.
Monaco are targeting Tosin as a potential replacement for Benoît Badiashile who joined Chelsea in the winter transfer market.
