Official : EFL club confirm Nigeria-eligible striker has returned to Chelsea
Published: January 31, 2023
Through their official website, English Football League club Forest Green Rovers have confirmed that Nigeria-eligible striker Bryan Fiabema has returned to parent club Chelsea.
The Blues have cut short Fiabema's loan spell which was originally supposed to keep him at the League One club until the end of the 2022-2023 season.
The Norway U20 international made fourteen appearances during his time at Forest Green Rovers, with twelve of those coming in the League One.
Fiabema has struggled to get regular run of games since December, after returning from his international commitments with Norway's youth team.
The 19-year-old logged 69 minutes from a possible 900 in the last ten matches played by Forest Green Rovers in the League One.
He finished the 2021-2022 season as Chelsea's development squad top scorer with eight goals in all competitions despite spending a portion of the season on loan at Rosenborg.
Fiabema is in the final five months of his contract with Chelsea.
