Chelsea have submitted their updated squad list to the Premier League following the closure of the January transfer window.
There are two separate lists - the main one containing a total of 23 players and another reserved for only U21 players and scholars irrespective of nationality.
For the 2022-2023 season, U21 players will have been born on or after 1 January 2001.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter has supplemented his squad with 67 players classed as U21 players and scholars, with ten eligible to represent the Nigerian national teams.
Goalkeeper Prince Adegoke (19), Fullbacks Derrick Abu (19), Richard Olise (18) and Somto Boniface (16), midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka (19), strikers Chinonso Chibueze (17), Bryan Fiabema (19), Louis Flower (18), Chukwunonso Madueke (20) and Tudor Mendel-Idowu (18) are all eligible to represent Chelsea in the Premier League for the second half of the season
Of the aforementioned players of Nigerian descent, only Chukwuemeka has made his first team debut for Chelsea.
An eleventh player of Nigerian descent Faustino Anjorin has been included on the list but the attacking midfielder will not be available for selection as he has been loaned out to Huddersfield Town for the entirety of the season.
