'Definitely on Chelsea's shortlist' - Insider confirms Blues keen on 18-goal Nigerian striker

Premier League big spenders, Chelsea, are desperately looking forward to signing a striker in the summer and have set their sights on Victor Osimhen.
The in-form Nigeria international took his tally for the season to eighteen goals in all competitions after scoring Napoli's second goal in their 3-0 rout of Cremonese on Sunday night and has continued to underline why some of Europe's best clubs are after his signature.
The 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup winner is enjoying his best goalscoring run as a professional, netting in six consecutive matches for the first time in his career.
Football journalist, Simon Phillips has a lot of inside information on Chelsea has disclosed to GIVEMESPORT that Osimhen is genuinely wanted by Chelsea and the Londoners have regularly scouted him this season with a view to a move in the summer.
Phillips' words: "Victor Osimhen is definitely one on the radar and last season, when the new owners came in, one of the first scouting missions they set up was to watch Napoli regularly.
"Then there was a few other players that they were watching as well. But he's definitely one they have been scouting regularly this, season and last season.
"He's definitely on Chelsea's shortlist of strikers and he's probably quite high up there."
It is believed that the asking price to open negotiations to sign Osimhen would be at least 100 million euros.
The 24-year-old will enter the last two years of his contract with Napoli on July 1, 2023.
