Adedire Mebude : Introducing Man City's Flying Eagles-eligible winger tearing PL2 apart
Published: March 06, 2023Adedire Mebude is a Manchester City U21 player who has been one of the best players in the Premier League 2 this season.
He has scored 10 goals, the third-most in the league, and has notched 8 assists, the second-most in the League in 19 appearances.
Adedire primarily operates as a right winger but can also play as a striker. He was born on May 28th 2004 in the United Kingdom to Nigerian parents. Adedire is currently a youth international for Scotland.
The 18-year-old began his career at Scottish side Rangers at the age of 10 where he spent six years.
Mebude joined the Manchester City academy in 2020 and signed his first professional contract in 2021.
The Manchester City winger is known for his blistering space, skill and goalscoring ability.
He was named Academy Player's Player of the Year for the 2021-2022 season after playing a pivotal role in helping Manchester City U-18 win the U-18 Premier League.
He was thereafter promoted to U-21 where he is currently shining like a million stars.
Mebude has caps for Scotland at U16 and U19 levels and is still eligible to play for the Flying Eagles.
