FIFA licensed Nigerian football agent thumbs up FIFA on eye-opening programme in Zurich
Published: April 07, 2023FIFA Licensed Football Agent, Mr. Eddie Iseri Ogbemudia is looking forward to adding more badges to his feather after recently completing the FIFA Executive Programme in Football Agency at the World Football Governing body's headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
On Friday, March 17, 2023, the graduation ceremony for the First ever FIFA Executive Programme in Football Agency was held, with African representatives, under the umbrella of African Football Agents Association (AFFAA).
The Principal officer of Myron Topclass Sport Outfits, representatives of several Nigerian top Stars and Clubs Mr. Eddie Iseri Ogbemudia who was in attendance in Zurich, made it known that it was an eye opener which has now given him the urge to dream for more.
"I had a great time out and the important thing is updating my knowledge about football agency, kudos to FIFA for putting this together, I will be willing to put in for more programmes as they come".
"One more thing is that the certification is a new beginning for football agents in the World, the channel of communication is now known, it will also help eradicate the days of having people with no knowledge laying claims to our Field"
"I also had the opportunity to make some very important networking stopovers in Freiburg Germany, Milan Italy, Stockholm Sweden, Finland and Paris France, which were very fruitful."
Agents and other stakeholders took part in the first edition of the programme which offers a practical and personalized learning approach based on theory, combined with research and practical sessions taught by reputable specialists.
Other key aspects of note at the Programme held in Zurich, Switzerland include "Understanding Football Transfers and Clients, Human Trafficking in Sports, Risks and Challenges, Players rights and protection, Negotiation skills among others, with notable facilitators like head of FIFA Legal and Compliance Department, Emilio Garcia, former Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger and many others.
