Talented winger of Nigerian descent finishes season in style by scoring for Chelsea U18s
Published: April 29, 2023Talented England youth teamer of Nigerian descent, Tyrique George ended the 2022-2023 season in style by getting on the scoresheet for Chelsea in a 4-1 rout of Brighton & Hove in an U18 Premier League fixture on Saturday.
The winger showed he's a player of class in the past one week having netted two goals in three matches.
George headed into the game against the Seagulls on the back of netting a Goal of the Season contender against Crystal Palace last Saturday, and he scored another brilliant goal in the come from behind win this afternoon.
Ronnie Stutter, assisted by Somto Boniface, canceled out Joe McKnight's goal to ensure that the two teams went into the break level.
Five minutes into the second half, George was given time and space and he found the bottom corner to give Chelsea a 2-1 lead, before additional tallies from Donnell McNeilly and Ronnie Stutter sealed a comprehensive win.
Chelsea will finish in fourth place in the U18 Premier League South regardless of other results elsewhere on the final day of the season.

American Express Elite Football Performance Centre in West Sussex on Saturday.
