Confirmed: Arsenal and Manchester United youngsters join Swansea City

Through their official website, Championship club Swansea City have announced their new intake of academy scholars for the 2023-2024 season.

Fourteen players have signed scholarships and have been promoted to Swansea City's U18 team for the upcoming season.

Aidan Higgins and Teo Minchev have joined the Swans from Manchester United and Arsenal respectively.

Higgins has yet to make his debut in the U18 Premier League and was an unused substitute for Manchester United in their 4-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in an U18 Premier League Cup clash in October 2021.

A central defender by trade, Bulgaria U18 international Minchev did not receive a call-up for an U18 Premier League game during his time at the Emirates Stadium

The other ten players who have signed scholarship forms are: Jacob Cook, Yori Griffith, Thomas Woodward, Kiel Higginson, Ramon Rees-Siso, Sam Seager, Thomas Searle, Osian Williams, Iestyn Jones and Callum Deacon.
