Published: July 25, 20232017 Fifa U20 World Cup-winning midfielder of Nigerian descent, Josh Onomah is searching for a new club ahead of the forthcoming season.
The Tottenham Hotspur academy product was released by Championship club Preston North End at the end of last season upon the expiry of his contract.
Football reporter at the Daily Telegraph, Mike McGrath tweeted on Monday evening that Onomah is training with the Potters to keep fit but stressed that there is the possibility of bagging a contract there.

Onomah signed a short team deal with Preston North End in the January transfer window after his contract at Fulham was mutually terminated and went on to play in thirteen games for The Lilywhites in the second half of last season.
The Anglo-Nigerian player is a seasoned campaigner in the Championship, having totaled 112 appearances combined for Aston Villa, Sheffield Wednesday, Fulham and Preston North End.
Onomah played 32 first team games during his time at Tottenham Hotspur, including thirteen in the Premier League.
Stoke City have failed to bounce back to the Premier League since their relegation in 2018.
