'He's been outstanding ' - Ex-Crystal Palace striker delivers verdict on Tottenham LB Udogie ahead of NLD
Published: September 23, 2023Ex-Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison has given his verdict on Destiny Udogie ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's clash with Arsenal in the first north London derby of the season at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow.
The Super Eagles-eligible left-back has been one of Tottenham's best players this season and has received a lot of encomiums for his performances.
The 20-year-old has started all Premier League games for Ange Postecoglou's side and has registered two assists in his name in what is his first season in the English top flight.
Morrison has praised Udogie for his performances and has given credit to Postecogolou for his form.
"Udogie the left back who we'd not really heard about last season when he was out on loan, he's been outstanding, so credit must go to Ange," Morrison said"He told Premier League Productions via The Boot Room.
Udogie will face his biggest test in the Premier League tomorrow when he comes up against Bukayo Saka who is one of the best right-wingers in world football at the moment.
He and his Spurs teammate will be hoping they can end their winless run at the Emirates Stadium.
