11 goals in 10 PL games: Man Utd considering move for Osimhen after Hojlund's slow start

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window after Rasmus Højlund's slow start to life at Old Trafford.

According to The Daily Mail, the Nigerian striker is being considered alongside Brentford Ace Ivan Toney and Porto striker Mehdi Taremi as a potential target to ease their goalscoring woes.

The Red Devils purchased Højlund in the summer but he has struggled to hit the ground running and the club are now weighing the option of bringing a senior forward to ease the goalscoring burden on the former Atalanta forward.

The 20-time English champions have scored eleven goals after ten Premier League games which is the lowest among teams in the top half of the table and would have to find a solution to their misfiring attack as soon as possible.

With Napoli ruling out selling out Osimhen in January, Manchester United will have to submit an irresistible offer for the Super Eagles forward to stand a chance of securing his signature in the winter transfer window.

Besides the Manchester-based side, Chelsea are also keeping an eye on the situation of the  CAF African Footballer of the Year nominee as they seek to arrest their goalscoring woes.
