2023 Flying Eagles invitee Ola-Adebomi nominated for PL2 POTM alongside Liverpool, Tottenham starlets
Published: November 03, 20232023 Flying Eagles invitee Ademola Ola-Adebomi has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player Player of the Month for October.
The Crystal Palace forward is set to battle the Liverpool duo of Mateusz Musialowski and Lewis Koumas, Tottenham Hotspur youngsters Yago Alonso, and Jamie Donley, Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Tawanda Chirewa, Callum Marshall of West Ham United and Reading's Charlie Wellens for the monthly accolade.
Ola-Adebomi was on target in his two appearances for the young Eagles last month, scoring a goal in their defeat to Liverpool and a brace in their victory over West Brom.
Of all eight nominees, only Alonso had more goal involvement than the Anglo-Nigerian striker having registered one goal and 3 assists for Tottenham for the month under review.
The 20-year-old's form also earned him a place on the bench in the first team's barren draw with Nottingham Forest on matchday 8 of the Premier League played last month.
He has featured in all seven games played by Crystal Palace U21s this season in the Premier League 2, mustering 4 goals and one assist.
