Bundesliga transfer expert confirms Nigerian striker will sign a contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2028
Published: December 06, 2023German Bundesliga transfer market expert Florian Plettenberg is reporting that Viktoria Plzen striker Rafiu Durosinmi will be heading to Eintracht Frankfurt in the January transfer window.
Durosinmi will replace Randal Kolo Muani, who moved to Paris Saint-Germain in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
As per the report by the Sky Deutschland reporter, Eintracht Frankfurt have reached a club-to-club agreement with Viktoria Plzen for Durosinmi, who will sign a contract until 2028.
Frankfurt are expected to pay between seven and eight million euros to acquire the 20-year-old center forward.
Durosinmi registered nine goals and six assists during the nineteen matches he played in this season before suffering a knee injury that has sidelined him since October.
Premier League club Brighton & Hove were also interested in signing the 6ft 4ins striker, who has his heart set on a move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Durosinmi has been likened to former Arsenal strikers Nwankwo Kanu and Emmanuel Adebayor due to his physique and playing style.
Eintracht Frankfurt had another Nigerian striker Gift Orban on their radar but the proposed move has stalled due to Gent's asking price for the 2023 Super Eagles invitee.
