Confirmed: Tottenham Hotspur academy product Amos joins Scottish Premiership club Hibernian
Published: January 25, 2024With a statement on their official website, Scottish Premiership club Hibernian have announced the signing of Tottenham Hotspur academy product Luke Amos.
The English-born Nigerian midfielder has put pen to paper on an eighteen months contract following a successful trial, with a club option to extend his contract for a further year.
Amos had been searching for a new club following his release by Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season.
The box-to-box midfielder was training with Tottenham Hotspur's development squad to keep fit after recovering from injury.
He has already made his debut for Hibernian, coming off the bench to replace Dylan Levitt in a 3-0 defeat suffered at the hands of Rangers on Wednesday, January 24.
Amos has one Premier League appearance to his name and has played in 108 games in the Football League for three different clubs namely Stevenage, Southend United and Queens Park Rangers.
The 26-year-old was on the books of Tottenham Hotspur for fourteen years before moving on to pastures new in 2020.
Amos will wear Hibernian's number 15 kit for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season.
