PSG close to deal for Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd-linked striker Osimhen
Published: April 11, 2024According to Il Matino, PSG are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen over a move to the club in the summer.
The report claims that the Napoli marksman is also willing to join the French giants and will sign a four year contract with €13m as salary within that period.
It was also added that it is unlikely that Premier League sides Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal who have all been linked with the 25-year-old will rival the Parisians at this point.
The French table-toppers are preparing for the departure of Kylian Mbappé who will be leaving a huge vacuum at the club and are determined to replace him with another world class forward.
They also attempted to sign Osimhen last summer but were priced out of a move for him and could now be set to finally secure the signing of the 2023 CAF Men's Player of the Year.
As a result of the impending departure of Mbappé, PSG find themselves in a better financial position to beat their Premier League counterparts to the signing of the Nigeria international.
Chelsea will likely have to sell before standing a chance to sign Osimhen, Manchester United have a big summer rebuild and it is uncertain if Arsenal will be willing to pay the striker's release clause, giving how free scoring they have been recently.
