Published: October 28, 2024
Nathan Butler-Oyedeji grabbed three assists while Andre Harriman-Annous got a goal in Arsenal's 4-3 triumph over Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League 2 fixture played at the Lancashire Football Association on Monday night.
Butler-Oyedeji set up the opening goal, assisting Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand in the 21st minute and Harry Leonard grabbed the equalizer for Blackburn.
The Anglo-Nigerian forward would be involved in putting Arsenal ahead again at the start of the second half, setting up Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand for his brace.
Substitute Khayon Edwards gave Mehmet Ali's side a two-goal cushion in the 73rd minute before Harriman-Annous scored his first Premier League 2 goal, assisted once again by Butler-Oyedeji.
Leonard reduced the deficit from the penalty spot after he was brought down in the box by James Sweet.
The Blackburn forward would score once again from the penalty spot, with Sweet being the culprit once again.
With his hat-trick of assists tonight, Butler-Oyedeji has failed to register a goal involvement in the Premier League 2 just once this season and has now tallied five goals and five assists.
Annous made his debut against Tottenham Hotspur after his impressive start to the season with the U18s and was handed his full debut today which he marked with a goal.
The 16-year-old now has eight goals and two assists across all competitions.
