'We look towards the next games' - Ndidi bullish ahead of Leicester City's trips to Man Utd, Ipswich
Published: October 29, 2024
Wilfred Ndidi is confident ahead of Leicester City's upcoming domestic fixtures, against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup and Ipswich Town in the Premier League.
After two successive wins in the Premier League, the Foxes suffered a setback in their last outing in the division, losing 3-1 to Nottingham Forest in Friday's East Midlands derby.
Jamie Vardy's goal counted for nothing, as strikes from Ryan Yates and Chris Wood earned Nottingham Forest a win.
Leicester City will be hoping to return to winning ways when they face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday, before traveling to Ipswich Town on Saturday, November 2.
Speaking after the defeat to Nottingham Forest, Ndidi expressed confidence that Leicester City can get back on track, especially with the solid performances they've shown in recent weeks.
"We just keep trying. We will just look on the positive sides and then the ones we need to improve on, we look towards the next games. It's another huge game (against Ipswich),” Nddi told Leicester's official webpage.
"Losing this one is a reflection to try to go on to the next one and see what we can get on that one because it gives us more confidence to look forward after that.
"We've got great players in the team, so we've got a good team, and I believe we can actually get something in the next one."
After seeing off Walsall in the third round of the Carabao Cup, Leicester City were handed a tough fourth round draw which will see them face Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Ndidi put his name on the scoresheet in his only appearance in this season's Carabao Cup, against Tranmere Rovers on August 27.
