Confirmed: Nigerian forward signs contract extension at Football League's Red Devils, Crawley Town
Published: November 08, 2024
Through a statement on their official website, Football League's Red Devils, Crawley Town have announced that Nigerian forward, Ade Adeyemo has committed his future to the club by signing a new deal.
Adeyemo's new contract will keep him at Crawley Town until the end of the 2025-2026 campaign.
A product of the Millwall academy, he arrived at the Red Devils in the summer of 2023, after spells at non-league clubs Fisher, Beckenham Town, Hayes & Yeading United and Cray Valley Paper Mills.
Adeyemo has logged forty-one appearances (eleven starts) since joining Crawley Town, scoring three goals and adding three assists.
The 26-year-old netted his first goal in Crawley Town colours in a 2-1 win against Notts County in March 2024, coming off the bench to net the game-winning goal.
Adeyemo scored another game-winning goal - his first in League One - as Crawley Town beat Cambridge United on matchday two of the 2024-2025 season, and was also on target in a 4-2 victory over Swindon Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
He helped Crawley Town secure promotion to the League One via the playoffs, playing the last twenty-five minutes of a 2-0 win against Crewe Alexandra at Wembley Stadium in May.
Adeyemo is teammates with Nigeria international Benjamin Tanimu at Crawley Town.
