Fabrizio Romano confirms PSG made ambitious bid of N334b to sign Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia last summer

Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed details of Paris Saint-Germain's ambitious attempt to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in May 2024.
In a recent YouTube video, Romano disclosed that PSG, through Osimhen’s agent, submitted a massive €210 million (approximately N334 billion in Nigerian cuurency) bid for both players, consisting of €200 million guaranteed and €10 million in add-ons.
"In May last year before the start of the summer window, Paris Saint-Germain presented a proposal to Napoli, sent by the agent of Victor Osimhen, who has an excellent relationship with PSG, a proposal worth 210 million euros (200 million euros guaranteed and 10 million euros in add-ons) for Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen," Romano said.
"So, Paris Saint-Germain wanted to sign both Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen at the beginning of the market. Napoli said no, Kvaratskhelia is not for sale."
However, Napoli rejected the offer, insisting that Kvaratskhelia was not available for transfer.
Despite agreeing on personal terms with PSG, Osimhen’s move failed to materialize due to the clubs' inability to reach a final agreement.
Following the stalled transfer, Osimhen secured a season-long loan to Turkish giants Galatasaray in September 2024, after failed moves to Chelsea and Al-Ahli on deadline day in the top five European leagues.
Since joining the Süper Lig club, the Nigerian international has been in exceptional form, netting 13 goals and providing five assists in 16 appearances across all competitions.
