Namibia coach Bernard Kaanjuka Names Squad For Nigeria Trip
Published: May 30, 2012
Ahead of departure from their training camp in Germany, Namibia coach Bernard Kaanjuka and his assistant Ricardo Mannetti have named a final 21-man squad for this weekend's World Cup qualifier against Nigeria in Calabar.
The Brave Warriors squad is made up of players from the MTC Namibia Premier League and South African clubs. Coach Bernard Kaanjuka has selected three goalkeepers, five defenders, nine midfielders and four attackers for the trip to Nigeria.
Midfielder Rudolf Bester has been included in the squad. But its remains sketchy if he would play the game against the Super Eagles. No player has been called up as replacement for the Orlando Pirates ace.
