According to sportinmalta.com, first division promotion hopefuls Gzira United are interested in Alfred Effiong, top scorer in the BOV Malta Premier League with 17 goals two seasons ago.
Gzira United President Joe Pace has offered a contract to the 27-year-old Valletta forward who is set to released by the Maltese champions.
The former Marsaxlokk striker is still weighting the options available to him. Effiong bagged nine goals in 13 starts in the 2011 - 2012 season.
