Trabzonspor Still Working On Deal To Sign MICHAEL ENERAMO
Published: June 02, 2012
Trabzonspor hope to continue discussions with Michael Eneramo next week. In the first meeting held, negotiations on signing the Nigerian forward had met a brick-wall after both club and player could not agree economic terms.
According to reports in Turkey, Trabzonspor have increased their financial offer to Eneramo, guaranteeing him annual wages of 1.1 million euros. There are also performance related bonuses inserted in the new proposal based on the number of goals scored by the former Lobi Stars front-man.
Michael Eneramo netted 15 goals and seven assists in his second season with Sivasspor. Known for his social life outside football, the 26-year-old did not extend his contract with Sivasspor citing personal reasons.
Ismail Genc, Turkish journalist with one of the most respected daily newspapers, Hürriyet, says Eneramo's transfer to Trabzonspor is almost completed.
''There are many clubs that want Eneramo in Turkey - Trabzonspor, Eskisehirspor, Bursaspor and Besiktas. Meanwhile, some clubs outside Turkey also want him. But, the closest team to him is Trabzonspor. I think Eneramo's transfer to Trabzonspor is 90 percent completed,'' says Ismail Genç to allnigeriasoccer.com.
