FC Copenhagen Chase JOSEPH AKPALA
Published: June 30, 2012
Danish vice-champions FC Copenhagen are interested in signing the Nigerian attacker Joseph Akpala, voetbalprimeur.be is reporting.
The ex Bendel Insurance star is stalling on renewing his contract with Club Brugge, which has alerted a host of clubs as he could become available at a bargain fee.
FC Copenhagen, now regarded as one of the finest clubs in Scandinavia, are looking for offensive reinforcements. The primary target of coach Ariel Jacobs is the former Ivory Coast youth-teamer Yannick Sagbo. Attention would shift to Akpala if Ariel Jacobs fails to land Sagbo.
Joseph Akpala, according to reports, is also on the radar of West Ham, West Brom and Montpellier.
