BROWN IDEYE: I Want To Score In Every Match
Published: July 15, 2012
Brown Ideye's injury time winner brought Dynamo Kiev victory over Metallurg Donetsk in the capital team's 1-0 win on Saturday at the Olympic Stadium. The one time Ocean Boys attacker has commented on the victory.
''In every game I work all the way to bring the team as much benefit as possible. Of course, I want to score in every match. Sometimes I get it, and sometimes - not. I thanked Andriy for Yarmolenko the assist in the encounter with Metallurg. It's his job. And if he gives me a pass, and I, in turn, score, it means that we are both doing our job well. Yet the main thing - a winning team,'' Ideye told the official website.
The out of favor Super Eagles player has admitted that his goal against Metallurg was the latest strike in his career. Delighted to score in the league premiere, Ideye does not want to be specific in the number of goals he would score this season.
''Goal against Metallurg Donetsk for me the first. But I never guessed the numbers. I just want to show my best qualities. I want to score as much as possible and more often,'' adds Ideye, who is now spotting a mohawk as his new hairstyle.
Dynamo Kiev are away to city rivals Arsenal Kiev in the second round of matches in the Ukrainian Premier League next Sunday.
