VICTOR OBINNA Targets Top Three Finish
Published: July 18, 2012
Lokomotiv Moscow attacker Victor Obinna has spoken of his expectations of the new season, and the methods of the head coach Slaven Bilic at the training camp in Slovenia, reports championat.com citing the official website.
''We had a great training camp, but for me these schedules, there was nothing new. I played six years in Italy, including four in Chievo Verona, and that's where training was very similar to those that we have under Slaven Bilic.
''In addition, I've trained under Jose Mourinho in Inter Milan - there we also did a lot of serious work. Now the main thing for us - how we can train more intensively and to be fully concentrated on preparing for the season,'' Obinna said.
Asked on what he wished for himself this season, which begins on Friday with an away match against newcomers Mordovia Saransk, the Super Eagle said: ''I do not want anything much to myself, but I want to wish the team. After all, individual achievement is not so important compared to the group. My main goal - to win as much as possible with Lokomotiv Moscow and at the end of the season finish in the top three in the Premier League.''
