Beijing Olympic silver medalist Solomon Okoronkwo will have to look for a new team in the January transfer window after he was released by Hungarian club Pécsi MFC, informs hatharom.hu.
On Monday, Pécsi MFC started training for the second half of the season without Solomon Okoronkwo and three other players who were also declared surplus to requirement by the club.
Okoronkwo's contract was due to expire in June, 2014, according to transfer market portal transfermarkt.de.
He scored 4 goals in 17 matches during his one - year stay in Baranya.
